Such an unusual year for herbalism! Most 2020 Events have been cancelled due to coronavirus. The following are classes that are otherwise annually held. This is posted here to give you an idea of what the future offers. Green Medicine Herb School classes will resume in 2020 when they can. See sign-up page.

  • Jan~Mar. BODY SYSTEMS HERB CLASSES with herbalist and author Kathi Keville. Sundays  for 9 weeks. The use of herbs specific to each body system, herbal therapeutics and preventive care. Includes 9-course meal made completely with foods and spices good for the organ of the day. Also aromatherapy, chi gung, yoga, color and music therapies, flower essences for the organs.   • Feb~Nov. 10-MONTH HERBAL STUDIES PROGRAM with Jane Bothwell.   • April. SOUTHWEST CONFERENCE on BOTANICAL MEDICINE. Tempe, Arizona. Features herb-drug interactions, the effects of inflammation on immunity and other clinical topics.   • April. MEDICINAL CANNABIS CONFERENCE. Our 3rd Annual conference designed to educate consumers, growers, and our medical providers so they can make more educated and effective decisions concerning the medicinal applications of cannabis. Presenters are international, national and local experts that will utilize substantiated research and experience to advance your knowledge base on Cannabis to the next level!   • May and June: Wild Herb Walks on weekends with herbalist and AHA director Kathi Keville in Nevada City, CA area.   • May  (Session 1)  May  (Session 2). 27th annual SPRING NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WOMEN’S HERBAL SYMPOSIUM. Two separate sessions, join 1or both. Each session is four full days of herbal and sustainable living classes, rites-of-passage ceremonies, drumming and dancing, handcrafted marketplace items, campfires, swimming-holes, and connections with remarkable womyn. Each session is a separate event with different teachers and over 50 beginning, intermediate and advanced classes, as well as classes for children, young women (teens), and Honored Crones.   • Sept. The Breitenbush Herbal Conference.  Some 35 years ago, a sweet little gathering was held in the woods. Many hands have held it together since then and those first herbalists have gone on to create the movement that is Western Herbalism. We invite you all to gather with us for another amazing weekend of insightful classes from respected Herbalists in our community. This is not just another herbal conference. It is a retreat for relaxation and personal growth. It is a chance to reconnect with old friends and to make new ones. It is a time to nourish our bodies with wholesome food and healing waters. It is time to gather in circle. Workshops, demonstrations, herb walks and merriment will appeal to all levels of students.
